Monday, Feb12-students were given handouts...Alexander Cartwright (this goes with a Google classroom assignment that is due Feb 14, and 2 handouts that are related to plot and character development that we will be filling out in class as we keep reading Flush.
Tues, Feb. 13-took all students to the library to have a "date with a book".
Wed, Feb.14- in class we analyzed chapters 2 and 3 from their assigned reading assignment. We are focusing on making claims of Noah's POV, providing textual evidence that supports the claim and then word choice-tone of the text. This is an activity that we will be reviewing for several days in class in preparation for their mid unit assessment that will be on MONDAY, FEB 19. Homework-read chapters 4-5
