In Class Today: Students will review the religion unit with hands on activities. They will be given most of the class period to work on the study guide for the test. In Class Today: Students will watch the Schlessinger video series on Hinduism. Warm Up: Reading passage on the Ganges River. Thursday, October 26: Finish the Buddhism worksheet. In Class Today: Students will learn about the beliefs and practices of Buddhism. Warm Up: How would a belief in Hinduism transform a society? Friday, October 27: No homework. In Class Today: Students will watch the Schlessinger video series on Buddhism. Warm Up: Reading passage on Asoka the Great.

In Class Today: Students will complete a Google Classroom activity on the Spread of Christianity. Warm Up: Read and annotate the primary document by Pliny the Younger. Tuesday, October 17: Project is due on Friday. Make sure you complete both the art and the writing portion of the project. See rubric for details. In Class Today: Students will learn about Christianity in ancient Rome. They will complete a SAS Curriculum Pathways activity on Constantine's conversion to Christianity. Warm Up: None. Wednesday, October 18: Project is due on Friday. In Class Today: Students will learn about the beliefs and practices of Islam. They will continue watching the Schlessinger video series on world religions. Warm Up: How did Christianity go from being against the law in ancient Rome to being the most widely practiced religion today? Thursday, October 19: Project is due tomorrow. Be sure to turn in the rubric with the project. In Class Today: Students will create Google Slide presentations on the spread of Islam and the impact of Islam today. Warm Up: None.
