In Class Today: Students will learn about the Roman Republic. They will examine the Twelve Tables and compare this set of laws to Hammurabi's Code and the Bill of Rights. Warm Up: Roman citizenship passage. Tuesday, February 6: Study guide is due tomorrow. Test is Thursday. In Class Today: Students will learn about the Byzantine Empire. They will evaluate articles in Justinian's Code and make inferences about life in the Byzantine Empire. Warm Up: Twelve Tables law analysis. Wednesday, February 7: Study for tomorrow's test. In Class Today: Students will go over the study guide and review for the test. Warm Up: Why do you think there is an image of Hammurabi on the US Supreme Court building? Thursday, February 8: Finish the "What is Economy?" worksheet. In Class Today: Students will take the test on Political and Government Systems. After they are done, they will work on the "What is Economy?" worksheet. Warm Up: None. Friday, February 9: No homework. In Class Today: Students will review "What is Economy?"
