Monday, April 16: Finish "Decline of Civilizations" Google Classroom activity.
In Class Today: Students will brainstorm economic, political and geographic reasons why civilizations would fall. They will learn vocabulary such as decline, invasion, conquest, and migration. They will complete an activity in Google Classroom that examines the fall of Mesopotamia, Mali, and Songhai.

In Class Today: Students will learn more about the fall of ancient Rome. They will participate in a poster analysis and gallery walk. Groups will have the opportunity to revise their posters after getting feedback from other students.
